About Holistic Essence

I am passionate about the benefits holistic therapies can bring to our well-being to combat the many stresses that have an adverse effect on our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.

I qualified as a holistic therapist in 2004 at the Jane Rochfort College of Complimentary Therapy and became a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA).  The therapies include Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Sports/Remedial Massage, Indian Head Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Keen to keep learning, I completed my Diploma in Reflexology with the Devon School of Reflexology accredited by the  Association of Reflexologists (AoR) in August 2019 and qualified in Advanced Lymphatic Drainage Massage in November 2019.  Further courses I have participated in to grow my knowledge and expertise to benefit my clients have been; Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage, Ear Reflexology and Nerve Reflexology for Pain Management, Reflexology for Menopause, 5 Element Reflexology, Aromatsticks, Neck Jaw, Chest and Shoulder Sports Massage.

In 2022, I became a Board Member for the Association of Reflexologists,  assisting the AoR and being part of shaping the future for the organisation, including the communications and digital marketing strategies to enhance communications to members, stakeholders and to the public to ensure that the fabulous work the AoR do for both their members, for reflexology and for the wider complementary therapies industry is broadcast loud and clear! 

As a Complementary Natural Health Care (CNHC) Registrant,  I must meet the UK wide government standards for safe and competent practice, hold professional indemnity insurance and agree to comply with the CNHC Code of Conduct, Ethics and Performance.

* CNHC registration is accepted by some health cash plans and insurers for reimbursement of treatment costs. 

Holistic Essence was re-established in September 2018 in Somerset.
